PART 2: THE POOR BOY CLEANING THE AIRCRAFT FOUND A NOTE… AND THE CAPTAIN TURNED PALE

PART 1

A wrench hit the concrete.

Everyone turned.

A young airport worker had crawled out from beneath a small airplane.

His face was covered in dirt.

His hands were scraped and bruised.

The captain was furious.

—What are you doing under my aircraft?

The boy stood up slowly.

And handed him a folded note.

—This fell from inside.

The captain barely looked at it.

Until he saw the handwriting.

Then everything changed.

His smile vanished.

His hands started shaking.

Because he recognized the writing immediately.

It belonged to his former co-pilot.

A man who had disappeared fifteen years ago.

The captain opened the note.

Read the first line.

And nearly dropped it.

Because it said:

“If you’re reading this, he finally found the plane.”

PART 2

The captain stepped away from the crowd.

Unable to breathe.

The boy watched silently.

The note continued.

It mentioned a hidden compartment.

Inside the aircraft.

A compartment nobody knew existed.

The captain opened it.

And found an old photograph.

The photograph showed three people.

The captain.

His missing co-pilot.

And a young child.

Then the boy pointed to the child in the picture.

—That’s me.

The captain froze.

Because the photograph had been taken years before the boy was supposedly born.

And suddenly someone in the crowd shouted:

—They’re here.

Everyone turned toward a black SUV pulling onto the runway.
