The luxury shopping mall was packed with people.
Bright lights.
Designer stores.
Expensive perfume in the air.
And in the middle of the crowd—
security guards surrounded a homeless teenage boy.
Dirty hoodie.
Thin arms.
Terrified eyes.
A wealthy woman pointed at him furiously.
— “That’s him!”
— “He stole my wallet!”
People immediately started filming.
The teenage boy panicked.
— “I didn’t take anything!”
But nobody listened.
One security guard shoved him hard against the marble wall.
— “Stop lying.”

And pressed itself against the boy’s chest.

— “WE FOUND THE WALLET!”
