PART 1 (FACEBOOK — HOOK + TENSION)
They tried to kick him out… 😳
It was supposed to be a normal day.
People ordering coffee.
Talking. Laughing.
Then the boy walked in.
Small.
Quiet.
Clothes that didn’t belong in a place like that.
He stepped up to the counter.
“Can I get one…?” he asked softly.
The worker didn’t even let him finish.
“You can’t be in here,” she said.
The boy froze.
Looked down at his hand.
A few coins.
Not much.
But everything he had.
“I can pay,” he said.
No one responded.
Some people looked away.
Others just watched.
Waiting.
And just when it seemed like he would turn around and leave…
someone finally spoke.

“Wait,” a voice said from behind.
It wasn’t loud.
But it was enough.
The entire room shifted slightly.
A woman stepped forward.
Not angry.
Not dramatic.
Just… certain.
“Let him speak,” she said.
The worker hesitated.
“He’s not—”
“Let him speak,” she repeated.
The boy looked up.
Like he didn’t expect anyone to take his side.
“I just wanted one,” he said quietly.
“For my sister.”
Silence.
“It’s her birthday,” he added.
The coins in his hand shook slightly.
“She said she wanted one of these.”
No one moved.
Not the worker.
Not the people watching.
Because suddenly…
this wasn’t about a pastry anymore.
It was about something much harder to ignore.
