PART 2: THE TEENAGER RAN INTO THE POLICE STATION… THEN HIS DOG FOUND A HIDDEN LOCKER

PART 1

The front doors of the police station burst open.

A teenage boy sprinted inside.

His German Shepherd raced beside him.

The dog was barking wildly.

Officers jumped to their feet.

People turned.

The boy looked terrified.

Completely out of breath.

“Please! You have to help!”

The desk sergeant frowned.

“What happened?”

The teenager pointed at the dog.

“He found something.”

The officers exchanged confused looks.

The dog suddenly pulled away.

Running down the hallway.

The boy chased after him.

Several officers followed.

The dog stopped in front of an old storage room.

Then began scratching furiously at a rusty locker.

The station fell silent.

The locker hadn’t been opened in years.

One officer laughed nervously.

“It’s probably a rat.”

But the dog refused to move.

The teenager swallowed hard.

Then quietly said:

“That’s exactly where he started barking yesterday.”

An officer opened the locker.

Inside was a small metal box.

Covered in dust.

Then the police chief stepped forward.

And instantly went pale.

Because he recognized the symbol engraved on the lid.

A symbol connected to a detective who disappeared eighteen years ago.

PART 2

Nobody spoke.

The chief slowly picked up the box.

His hands were shaking.

The officers stared.

Confused.

Then he opened it.

Inside was an old badge.

A photograph.

And a cassette tape.

The chief stopped breathing.

Because the badge belonged to the missing detective.

The same detective everyone believed had died years ago.

Then the teenager looked at his dog.

The dog continued staring at the box.

Whining softly.

As if it already knew.

The chief turned over the photograph.

A message was written on the back.

Only one sentence.

“If this box is found… it means someone finally listened to the dog.”

Then the cassette player in the evidence room suddenly switched on by itself.
