PART 2: THE LITTLE GIRL ASKED TO SEE THE OWNER… THEN THE ENTIRE MANSION WENT SILENT

PART 1

The front doors opened.

Guests turned immediately.

An elderly woman and a young girl had stepped into the middle of a charity gala.

Crystal chandeliers glowed overhead.

Luxury surrounded them.

They clearly didn’t belong there.

A security guard started walking toward them.

“Private event.”

The old woman didn’t argue.

The little girl stepped forward.

Holding a small wooden box.

“I need to see the owner.”

Several guests laughed.

The guard shook his head.

Then a wealthy businessman nearby noticed the box.

And stopped moving.

His eyes locked onto a symbol carved into the wood.

A symbol he hadn’t seen in twenty years.

Because it belonged to his missing brother.

The little girl held out the box.

“My grandfather said you would recognize it.”

The businessman’s face turned pale.

Because his brother never had children.

PART 2

The businessman carefully opened the box.

The entire room watched.

Inside was an old pocket watch.

A photograph.

And a folded note.

The businessman recognized the watch immediately.

It had belonged to his brother.

The same brother everyone believed had died years ago.

Then he unfolded the note.

His hands started shaking.

The first sentence read:

“If you’re reading this, they never found me.”

The businessman looked up.

Speechless.

Then the little girl pointed toward a balcony above the ballroom.

Everyone followed her gaze.

And a man standing in the shadows immediately stepped back out of sight.
